Described as the “Window to the Future” (BBC) and the “Embodiment of Europe 2020” (CNN), CBCE will be joining the eye-popping, innovative and tremendously large-scale conference in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, Slush.

When is it?

Slush takes place next week from 21st-22nd November and gathers together more than 25,000 participants including 4000 start-ups and 2,500 investors.

What is it?

A conference that connects ground-breaking start-ups from 30+ industries as varied as Fintech, Medtech and Cleantech to mention a few. Since its inception, it has been a student-led initiative to provide a meeting place for the world’s most original entrepreneurs and till this day its reach grows stronger and stronger.

It is a jam-packed two days’ worth of seminars, workshops and specialized matchmaking services that puts companies and investors from around the world in contact with each other. In this respect it gives businesses and investors the chance to squeeze meetings and opportunities that would usually take months and months to arrange into two days. A surefire way to accelerate business
opportunities and development.

Additionally, it provides plentiful opportunity to share knowledge and as well as learn from some of the world’s most successful companies and their representatives such as Derek Haoyang Li, Founder and Chairman of Squirrel AI Learning, former Chief Scientist at Amazon Andreas Weigend and partner at Softbank Investment Advisers Lydia Jett, just to name a few.

The eye-watering number of influential leaders in business and technology as well as the pioneering nature of the conference (which year upon year is globally expanding into events such as Slush Shanghai and Slush events in Tokyo and London) provides more than enough reasons to motivate CBCE to participate and contribute to one of the world’s most important entrepreneurial conferences.
